Carol Burke MSc. L.Ac.
Carol started her long career in healthcare while earning her Master’s in Physics, her involvement in a research project “Muscleosketel Biomechanics with an emphasis on spinal movement”, ignited her passion for working with the body and helping people achieve optimal health.
Carol spent many satisfying years working in the medical industry and hospitals both in the USA and Ireland. It was while working at a Cancer Centre in Dublin she realized the importance that prevention, lifestyle changes, diet and complementary treatments have on our health. She founded her business on the belief that she could offer a space in Dublin providing complementary medical treatments and health advice. Carol believes that good medicine combines the best that Eastern and Western medicine can offer, her practice is rooted in the wisdom of both traditions and is adapted to suit the individual.
The practice has expanded outside her clinic to include classes and workshops where she educates people on issues like women’s health; stress management and in addition provides Restorative Therapy classes.
Carol’s background in science and western medicine combined with her studies of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Restorative movement Therapy, Amatsu Therapy and other complementary therapies differentiates her from most other practitioners. Her background provides her with the skills, knowledge, and insight to help the individual on their journey to health while providing them with the best possible care.
